Roderick B. MacKenzie

On 9 Dec 2011, Connecticut Ancestry Society lost a board member and friend, Roderick B. MacKenzie. As the assistant librarian and genealogist at the Fairfield Museum and History Center and Pequot Library in Southport, Rod helped countless of us in our research in southwestern Connecticut for over thirty years.

A memorial fund has been established in Rod's name at the Fairfield Museum to help support their ongoing genealogy programs, lectures and internships, which were a central passion of Rod's life. Tax-deductible contributions can be sent to Fairfield Museum and History Center / Rod MacKenzie Memorial Fund, 370 Beach Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824.
