Connections
Through workshops and specifically assigned liaisons, the Society maintains active contact with historical societies and libraries having significant genealogical and local history collections relating to southwestern Connecticut.
Our three hubs each host two events per calendar year. Stamford Historical Society is in the west, Trumbull Library is in the east, and Danbury Library is in the north.
Since our inception, we have maintained a close and mutually beneficial relationship with the Ferguson Library in Stamford which houses our collection in the Stamford Room. Manuscript donations are housed at the New Canaan Historical Society.
We are a charter member of the New England Regional Genealogical Conference, which holds a major biennial conference in New England and a member of the Federation of Genealogical Societies.
