Donations

Connecticut Ancestry Society, Inc. is qualified as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Cash donations in excess of membership dues are deductible charitable expenses. Donations in the form of genealogical materials such as books, manuscripts, diaries, and family Bible records will be made available to the public through a local repository.

Membership

Annual dues entitle members to four issues of Connecticut Ancestry, free publication of queries, and notification of Society meetings and other genealogical events. The Society's membership year begins June 1. Dues for new and renewed memberships received prior to March 1 will receive a full volume year of journals, beginning with the past August issue. Subscriptions made in March or April must indicate whether they are for the current or following membership year.
